First Helicopter to trian or learn:
Esky Lama V4 ? Walkera 5#4Q4 ? Walkera CB-180Q (or D or Z) FP (meaning: fixed pitch)

E-sky: nice, not to brittle landing skids on i.e. the V4 big brother :  big lama, easy to learn, but bad motors. (die quickly)

Walkera: pro's and con's, relatively cheap, enough spare parts worldwide. Bad: back rotor with cardan shaft driven easy to strip gearing. Back rotor motor: dies after about 30 flights.

I.e. the walkera 180D is very stable, good gyro, but the forward movement is next to nothing ! not even when made nose-heavy.
Backwards and sideways the pitch of death is easy to do... (Tilting more then being able to steer back from)
