Ebay, a lying sellers paradise...

Above: Ebay just removed my negative feedback for seben. I mentioned the speed is unreal, so they might sell less to people that do their homework.
But just that wil also cost ebay some income... Want to sell and make ebay richer? Lie about specifications!
As i thought, they (Seben) also gave me a bad feedback.

One day i tried an onroad rc car racer from a neighbour.  It was a HPI Sprint and it looked pretty fast, i was used to ride buggy and trucks off road.  If you do not have a GPS, measure 10 meters, draw a line, take a stopwatch (mobile phones have them to most often) drive over first line, press stopwatch, when over second line press again. Now you know how many time it took to go 10 meters.  Times 100 is time per kilometer.

So i went online seeking for info. I found something interesting, and that was Seben ebay shop germany.
They sold fast cars for less money then others, due to high volume (100.000 world wide) and first class quality parts!
Seben  advertise BIG with 2 speeds in 1 add, 60 kmph AND 50 kmph is mentioned in the add a bit lower, in 1 add, for 1 car. All there cars, they claim, go that fast! Truck, buggy? no problem 60 (or 50)  kilomters per hour, thats more then 31 mile per hour mph !
THAT i did not believe, i would be glad with 35 kmph for an offroad and perhaps 45 for on-road.
But a GPS measurement (Garmin) shows different, with a fresh LRP 4000 Mah nimh racingpack it went only 28 Kmph ! With the 1900 nicd... you dont want to know... Also it is a weak motor or wears down very quick :(

Now communication is plenty with seben, they do give respons and that is better then some shops that just ignore you and then give a bad feedback just because you did, AND saying that you did not try to get to them  This time i guess Seben is one of those shops that twist your arm, you give bad feedback, they do also. See screencapture a bit further on page. They got payed almost right after i won this product, weeks went by , but still no feedback... But what more is a buyer that pays directly, tries to get what he payed for?
I have not yet contacted ebay, but i guess the sellers can be going on selling with speeds never to be made with toys. Seben hides behind the manufacturer that states the speeds, but this is the EU, and they sell it with advertisement of 60 Kmph (and 50...)  Sellers should know what they sell, seben sells with advertising 'high speeds and first quality' for slow cars.

Also after sending an orange body shell instead of the black one i ordered, they had me working, they needed from ME photos or scans of invoices they have on their site and own e-mail, and i had to send that by email, for returning the body shell.  How weird is that!?
And returning costs money, their fault (can happen) my money... Don't get me wrong, some people have it as a first, they are satisfied, and will stil l be once they outgrow this toy and buy a real rc car that DOES go above 45 kmph. Anyway, last respons was: we send you the black shell, dont bother to return the orange one. That was 1 little plus after all the time i spend over that...

Above translated in short :  Seben sell 100.000 products, so first class cars, for less money then other shops.

Above: won it, payed it, did not get feedback not even after 2 weeks and correspondence.

Above: SIXTY kmph, that attracts buyers. Most of them probably not used to real rc cars that do go 45 or above.

Result after some rounds to warm up; 

Standard, driven in, 28 Kmph, that is far from 60 it is 32 Kmph to slow, Seben says up to 60 kmph.... when you drop it out of the window from floor 1 or 2 ?

Latest news: all ball bearings in it now, because some parts are rolling on 'first class' nylon gliders.
Speed now on TWO wheel drive and front wheels running free of internal gears:   30,7 kmph, wow that motor is weak or wearing down fast after a drive or 8....

These are the 'Reely'  (Also, like seben,  HBX...) truck and buggy. Same story....

Later more if we try a: LRP sphere brushless x11 specifications truck buggy on raod rc cars rpm specs per volt etc for brushless combos and sets in this car, 7,5 turns / windings, 40.000+ rpm  !!!
